Ambikamber: A Story of Creativity, Courage & Craftsmanship
Ambikamber is the culmination of a lifelong passion for art, color, and design. My journey began in school, where, while challenging subjects like Physics and Mathematics often felt overwhelming, I discovered a deep fascination for doodling, sketching, and exploring colors and contrasts. Over time, this creative instinct evolved into a true artistic identity.
During my studies in Textile Design at Government Girls’ Polytechnic, Varanasi, I honed my skills in repeat patterns, motifs, buta-booti designs, block printing, screen printing, and embroidery techniques. Industrial visits and hands-on projects expanded my understanding of fabrics, textures, and dyeing processes, awakening a profound artistic perspective.

The Story Behind Ambikamber
Continuing my B.Sc. in Fashion Design at I.N.S.D. College, New Delhi, I focused exclusively on the creative and design aspects, discovering that my true calling lay not in technical execution, but in conceptualizing and designing artistic creations. Everywhere I looked, I saw patterns, textures, and possibilities for color and design.
Upon returning home, the unwavering support of my family—especially my parents and brother—encouraged me to transform my passion into action. In 2021, I created my first name plate samples, promoted them, and received my first orders. This initial success motivated me to explore market trends, refine my designs, and develop a professional approach to interior décor and design products.
On April 28, 2022, I officially registered my company as Ambikamber OPC Private Limited, with myself, Esha Verma, as the sole director. Today, Ambikamber has grown into a recognized brand with a vibrant presence on Instagram, Facebook, and a dedicated website, offering customers unique, handcrafted, and trend-aware interior décor items that bring art and creativity into every space.

Behind Ambikamber is a dedicated support system that ensures every creation reaches our customers flawlessly. My partner handles the logistics side of the brand, providing invaluable support, boosting confidence, and managing packing, shipping, and inventory. His efforts allow me to focus on the creative and design aspects of our products.
When I first started Ambikamber, I was not married and the brand was based in Lucknow. That city will always hold a special place in our journey, as my family—my mother, father, and brother—provided unwavering support that allowed me to set up and grow the brand. Now, after marriage, my husband has become an integral part of Ambikamber, providing guidance, encouragement, and support. With his help, the brand continues to run smoothly and efficiently, allowing us to focus on creating high-quality, personalized, and artistic interior décor products for our customers.
Looking ahead, we plan to expand our team and hire employees in the coming year, further strengthening our operations while maintaining the quality and care that define Ambikamber.”
